Mission Part 1 - Getting the gospel message out there...everywhere!

Mark 16:15 - And he (Jesus) said to them: Go into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:15 sums it up pretty good as to what the mission of any child of God is. Therefore it is the mission of this site to do the same....and more!

Mission Part 2 - Hey...God Loves You!

A very fine preacher one time stated that John 3:16 is the be all end all to the fundamentals...there is nothing more. Christianity has become littered with alot of "additionalism" that has obscured the most important message of all - the fact that God loves us.

The obscuring of this message in favor of preaching about the do's and don't, the spiritual gifts, the benefits, the retirement plan....and ALL the hokus pokus has led to many a non-Christian to stay exactly as they are...non-Christian.

Of course we will discuss other issues on The Cross Rocks, but first and foremost it is my hope and prayer that visitors here will not leave without knowing that God deeply loves them and sent His Son to die on a cross as an expression of that love.

If that can be accomplished with this site...then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
